The feels like home promise

Your concept comes first, and no detail is drawn until you love the direction. Four rounds of changes are included, because a design is not finished until it feels like yours.

Rachel takes on only a few Sunday Signature rooms at a time, so each one has her full attention.

Who it’s for

  • Homeowners who would like the room at the heart of their home designed in real depth
  • Often the main living space, a kitchen-diner or a bedroom
  • Cottages, farmhouses and period homes, where rustic luxury feels most at home
  • Anyone who would like to see the finished room before anything is bought, and to have Rachel walk them through it, live or pre-recorded
  • A garden, courtyard, rooftop or balcony, which counts as one room
  • Two or three rooms, with each further room added at £995

English and French country, modern farmhouse and modern rustic all sit within rustic luxury. If you love the feel of an English cottage, a French farmhouse or a modern farmhouse kitchen, your design can lean that way, woven through the same honest, matt materials and rustic warmth.

  • Photorealistic visuals of your finished design, so you can see the space before anything is bought
  • A layout drawn to scale, for a room or for an outdoor space
  • A colour, finishes and lighting plan

Room by room

What could your design include?

Choose any one of these rooms, designed in real depth, with photorealistic visuals so you can see it finished. A second or third room can be added at £995.

  • Entrance hall

The first impression, designed in depth: where the mirror, lamp, bench and storage sit, a colour that leads you through the house, and Classical Feng Shui guidance for the front door, where the home first meets the world. You see the finished hall in photorealistic visuals before anything is bought.

  • Living room

A furniture layout worked out for conversation, the fire and the television, then shown in photorealistic visuals so you can see the room finished. Layered lighting for every hour, Feng Shui guidance on where the seating sits best, and every rug, textile and piece of furniture on a full, detailed sourcing list.

  • Dining room

A table sized and placed for the way you gather, with Feng Shui guidance on where everyone sits, a pendant hung at the right height and soft layers of light for long suppers. You can walk through it in photorealistic visuals, and have Rachel walk you through it, live or pre-recorded.

  • Kitchen

Cabinet colour, worktop, tile, handle and tap finishes chosen in real depth and shown together in photorealistic visuals, so you can see how they sit side by side before anything is ordered. Lighting for cooking and for company, open shelves styled with care, and every finish on a full, detailed sourcing list.

  • Study

A desk placed for the best light and, with Classical Feng Shui guidance, in a calm, commanding position in the room. Storage that hides the paperwork, and a scheme you can see finished in photorealistic visuals, even when the study is a corner of another room.

  • Principal bedroom

A bedroom designed for rest in real depth: the bed placed with Classical Feng Shui guidance, layered bedside and reading light, natural linens and colours chosen for sleep. All of it shown in photorealistic visuals, with every piece, from the bed to the bedside lamp, on a full, detailed sourcing list.

  • Bathroom

Tiles, stone, fittings and finishes chosen together and shown in photorealistic visuals, so the palette is right before a single tile is bought. Light that is bright in the morning and soft at night, and towels, textiles and plants that make it a retreat.

  • Children’s bedroom

A room that grows with them from nursery to school years, with storage planned around their things, gentle colour and natural materials that stand up to life. Feng Shui guidance on placing the bed for rest, and photorealistic visuals to share with them before anything changes.

  • Garden, rooftop or balcony

A layout drawn to scale, seating placed for the sun, outdoor lighting and a peat-free planting list, all shown finished in photorealistic visuals. Classical Feng Shui guidance for the way the garden meets the house, and every piece of furniture and lighting on a full, detailed sourcing list.

How it works

Three steps, all through The Sunday Desk

Everything is delivered through , the studio’s client portal, wherever you are in the UK. It includes a concept walk-through with Rachel, and you choose how it comes: a 60-minute live call, where Rachel takes you through your design and agrees any changes with you there and then, or a pre-recorded walk-through to watch in your own time, with your thoughts sent back in The Sunday Desk. A live call follows a set agenda, shared with you beforehand, and the recording is sent afterwards. There are no site visits, and every design is directed and approved by Rachel.

1

Share your space

Photographs or a slow video walk-through are shared in , together with a few measurements and a short questionnaire about how you live in the space.

2

Review the concept

Your concept board arrives in , setting out the direction, the palette and the layout, and Rachel walks you through it, on a 60-minute live call or in a pre-recorded walk-through, whichever you prefer. Either way you can watch it again, and your thoughts shape every detail which follows.

3

Receive your finished design

The final design, with photorealistic visuals, the layout drawn to scale, the colour, finishes and lighting plan, and your shopping and planting lists, sourced ethically where it matters, all delivered through . From there, the design is yours to bring to life, at your own pace.

Four rounds of changes are included, and the finished design takes three to four weeks. Sixty days of questions afterwards come as standard.
